A Proper Ending’s 2021 Appendix AQHA Colt

Combining the genetics of two ‘old favorites’ in Basic Black Spruce and Proper Etiquette, gave me this mare, A Proper Ending. She is that, a proper ending to two horse lives well lived! She has a fancy colt at side this year by Kay Too, son of Panther Mountain. Kay Too is a full brother in blood to DMNV Mountable, winner of half a million on the track and sire of great barrel horses. Kay Too stayed at the ranch while his brother went racing, but that’s ok! His foals are exceptional….they have Kay’s outstanding disposition, his beautiful head and those eyes……and I have no doubt that they have the speed and athletic ability to excel at anything and everything they are asked to do. The Basic Black Spruce family has produced barrel horses, mounted shooting horses, good all around using horses, rope and trail horses too. Proper Etiquette was a hard knocking winning race mare that ran until she was 8 years old and retired from the track, sound, and moved to the ranch as a broodmare. This foal has a full sibling in New Mexico that is already a much loved individual! We are looking forward to watching these babies mature and enter competition!
