2000 Bay Thoroughbred Stallion
A race winner, race winning sire and an impeccable pedigree!
Rock Climb, sired by leading Thoroughbred sire Gulch, and out of a Lyphard daughter is a race winner of over $50,000. The Gulch/Lyphard cross in TB breeding is a well known niche breeding and Rock Climb is certainly living proof that the cross works! He’s 15.2 hands, beautifully put together with a gorgeous head, big hip and very strong shoulder, short back and long underline. He has excellent bone, leg conformation and perfect feet.
Since he’s been here at Flying O Ranch, we’ve raised several QH foals by him and feel he is an exceptionally nice choice to add speed and outcross genetics in Quarter Horses. His pedigree brings over $8 million in race winnings in four generations. According to AQHA records, he is one of only nine sons of Gulch used in QH breeding programs. As his foals enter training, we’ve found them to be intelligent, very trainable, and fast! Two of them will be competing in arena events in the very near future.
From a very limited crop of TB foals to go to the track he has sired a high percentage of race winners.
